We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, August 20, 2021.
Come learn to row at Bair Island Aquatic Center! This series will introduce you to the rowing stroke, boat handling, and how to be safe getting out on the water in singles and group boats. You will also be introduced to the discipline of coastal rowing and learn some of the basic skills for rowing in rough water. Students will take a flip test and be offered the opportunity to get certified to use open water singles. This class is geared to those with little or no rowing experience. Rowing is a full body workout and a chance to get out on the water and try a new sport. No prior watersport experience is needed.
