We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Join our new 8 week tethered deep water running course. Deep water running is designed for current runners using high intensity work to cross condition without the impact of the road. Outdoor running homework will be offered to maximize improvement. If you have always wanted to run but can't tolerate the impact and want to learn proper running techniques this awesome high intensity workout class is for you. You will be tethered to the wall and working against a bungee and the dynamics of the water. This class is not suitable for beginners. Participants should be able to work at a moderate to moderately-high intensity level in the water for 30 minutes as a pre-requisite. With the resistance of the water, deep water running produces favorable health benefits and is a viable training option to improve performance and fitness. The class will build week to week for maximal strength gains in the core and supporting running musculature. Bring water in a bottle that can be tethered to your belt. Join aqua wellness instructor, certified personal trainer and Boston marathon competitive runner Laurie Sevier for this amazing 8 week course.
