About This Activity

Back (and bark) by popular request–We’re hosting our 2nd Annual Bark in the Park Event, so grab your furry friends and get ready to come out to Babcock Ranch for this fun-filled day.

The event starts with our Doggie Dash 5K race at 7:30am. Run solo or with a pet.

After the race, join us in Founder’s Square for our Bark In The Park pet festival featuring competitions, kids activities, petting areas, and more. Event attendance is free and open to all!

Awards will be 3 deep in all categories. Awards are in 10 year aged groups. We have overall winner male and female.  Masters, Grand Masters. We will not have a Senior Grand Masters awards category.

Event details and schedule

5K Race Registration - 7:30 AM - February 17, 2018

Race begins at 8:00 AM.

Starting from Lake Timber Drive, running through Sun Set Park and around our scenic lake.

Arrive by 7:30AM for day of registration and packet pick up.

There will be ample FREE parking for everyone, but be sure to arrive by 7:30AM, as traffic will be halted before the race begins at 8:00AM.

All runners must complete the online waiver form.

Bring comfortable running clothes and something warm and dry, as weather can be inclement in Florida at any time of the year.

Early packet pick up will be at The Run Shoppe - Fort Myers, Friday February 16, 2018 - 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Packet Pick up the day of the race will be inside Woodlea Hall in Founder's Square.
