Experience the most epic battlefields of the Civil War- Manassas, Antietam: cross Burnside’s Bridge, climb Marye’s Heights, and discover the Defenses of Washington, DC including Forts Washington and Ward! Tour the National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA to see real Civil War weaponry up close along with the small but important battle of Ox Hill. Finally, spend a day in the life of a Civil War soldier learning how to march in formation, dress in uniform, set up a campfire, and participate in a water gun battle re-enactment also using a water balloon launcher to better understand Civil War-era Artillery.
