The lantern tours of Ft. Vancouver are an exciting way to experience this reconstructed fort at night. Each participant will carry their own lantern (provided) and tour with a Park Ranger. Each building will give you a chance to experience a different historical vignette with costumed, living history interpreters. Fee includes admission and tour. Bring money for dinner in Vancouver prior to the tour. Mobility Rating: This trip is not accessible to participants using mobility devices such as walkers, wheelchairs and scooters. Involves navigating in low light conditions and over uneven terrain. Please note that we will make a stop at the Rose Quarter MAX station on our return for any participants needing access to public transportation. The Community Center will be closed when we return. Please contact Senior Recreation for recommendations of a location to wait for transportation if needed.
Participants may register for a maximum of 3 trips during the first week registration is open. After that, you may register or waitlist for as many additional trips as you wish.
