Interested in painting, but not sure if you would like to try acrylics or oils? Gain understanding of both through step by step demonstrations and discussions of historical and contemporary practices. Students will choose to practice from acrylics or oils in this introductory course. Work on structured assignments from a foundation of basic concepts: composition, form, contrast, and color.
Though geared for beginners, more experienced students may join to refresh themselves on core techniques. Students cannot miss first class. Get materials list online.
