Play trios, quartets or other groups with other string students at your level. Refine ensemble skills and interpretive abilities through rehearsals and coaching. Discover the thrill of musical teamwork and accomplishment. Genres that can be explored include Classical, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Rock and more. Indicate your preference when at registration.Prerequisite: At least two years playing your instrument/s, ability to plays scales in a few keys, name notes, and play in time. Players are placed into groups using the information provided at time of registration and also the student’s submitted recorded playing sample and / or CMC instructor recommendation. Group assignments will be communicated to applicants in Mid March.
Student Recording Sample: Students may be asked to record a short piece showcasing their skill.At least two years playing your instrument/s, ability to plays scales in a few keys, name notes, and play in time.
