About this event
Instructor: Ms. Jorie 2 hour class! Small class of 8-10 adult students max. In this course, students will learn where clay comes from, stages of clay, and the full ceramic process from squishy to glazed! Learn handbuilding basics, then move on to pottery wheel safety and basics, practice centering and work towards making functional creations as you strengthen your hands and hone your skills. This is an ongoing class , and it’s recommended to be repeated, and prepares students for continuing study to the next level of ceramics when readiness is demonstrated. Adult class. No children or teens, please. Tuition includes clay, glazing and firing costs.
