"The GCU Men’s Ice Hockey program provides students with the opportunity to play the sport competitively at the collegiate level. Team 1: $3,400 Division I level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). 30-game schedule, September through end of February, competing against conference and non-conference opponents. Team practices are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. Team 1 players typically have playing experience at NCAA DIII, Tier II and III Junior, and AAA Tier 1 levels. Players on Team 1 are provided with all necessary team-colored jerseys, socks, pant shells, bag, and gloves. Players are required to provide all other necessary hockey equipment. Team 2: $3,400 II level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). 24-26-game schedule, September through end of February, competing against conference and non-conference opponents. Team practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Team 2 players typically have playing experience at Tier III Junior, AAA Tier 1&2, High School Varsity, and AA levels. Players on Team 2 are provided with all necessary team-colored jerseys, socks, pant shells, bag, and gloves. Players are required to provide all other necessary hockey equipment. Team 3: $3,000 Division III level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). 20-24-game schedule, September through end of February, competing against non-conference opponents. Team practices are Monday 2:00 to 3:00pm and Wednesday 3:00 to 4:15pm. Team 3 players typically have playing experience at AAA Tier 1&2, High School Varsity/JV, and AA levels. Players on Team 3 are provided with all necessary team-colored jerseys, socks, pant shells, bag, and gloves. Players are required to provide all other necessary hockey equipment.
