About this event
Through innovative hands-on activities, students will assume the role of a veterinarian and learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper nutrition, perform a tick check, and identify animal body language. Each student will take home their own stuffed animal dog that they will adopt along with tape measures, dog journal, dog bone cookie cutter and so much more! Little Medical School is deeply rooted in family, medicine, and education. The passion for educating and encouraging careers in the healthcare field culminated in the creation of the organization in 2010, which is now the leading developer of this specialized curriculum for youth. (Please note: Each student will receive a packet of material including supplies. There is no session on March 3.)
