This camp aims to introduce its participants to traditional animation: the art of creating the illusion of movement with static images. We will use a Zoetrope to do so. Participants will take a look at the history of cinema & animation and how it has evolved in its short history to today's computer graphics. We will learn how traditional animation and digital tools merge perfectly as a great tool for communication and expression. Ioannes Busca is a multimedia designer recently established in Philadelphia, wanting to share his interest and skills in illustration, design, and books with others. Ioannes has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts specialized in Architecture and Cinema. Early drop off is available at no additional cost from 8:00am-9:00am. Optional Extended Day available from 3:00-5:30pm each day. Please select this option during registration.
