This kid is way too excited for the first day of school. Like, WAY too excited. He or she is borderline bouncing off the walls and "can't wait to learn." Just wait until long division, kid, we'll see how spunky you are then.

How are there already cliques on the first day of kindergarten? Someone explain this to me. The older grades I understand, you guys already know each other -- but kindergarten?
The Retreater
This kid thought he was ready for the first day of school, but upon entering the classroom, quickly decided he was not. The teacher's gonna have to keep an eye on that one, for sure. He may try to make an immediate escape, or, if he's savvy, he'll wait and time his dash for the door right when everybody least expects it. "We've got a runner!"
The Suck-Up
This kid brought a present for the teacher on the first day. THE. FIRST. DAY. You don't even know this person, kid! That's not called a present, that's a bribe. Stop trying to buy good grades with your feigned innocence!
