In this intermediate and advanced class, the focus will be form and surface. Students will create pots for the application of various decorative techniques including carving, sgraffito, different resists, and slip. Students with individual projects will receive guidance and assistance as needed. Please see your receipt for studio access information and materials list.
The Art Center Main lobby doors are locked on Wednesday nights. Please enter the ceramic studio through the studio doors in the Historic Courtyard (facing Newell St.).
Please bring $23 to purchase clay at Art Center, a basic ceramic tool kit (available at the Art Center for $15, or online or at any local art store), an apron and a towel.
