Description

This activity is closed to further registration.

A monotype is a one-of-a-kind print. The process is one of experimentation and surprise. Etching ink is painted or rolled onto a printing plate and then printed on paper using a hand-pulled etching press. The plate can be reworked and added to for new or related images. This class will cover additive and subtractive techniques, masking, ghost images, counter proofs, viscosity and chine collé (collaging with the press). Materials fee is $15 payable to instructor. Please see your receipt for materials list.THIS CLASS AT CUBBERLEY COMMUNITY CENTER, ROOM F4
