Explore drypoint printmaking with collage papers (chine collé). Drypoint is an intaglio technique where line and tone are created by scratching with an etching or diamond point needle directly into the plate. Ink is worked into the plate so that the line work prints dark. In this class you will also learn the chine collé technique and how to hand color your own chine collé paper. On the first day we will make the drypoint image and proof, then go over making the collage paper. On the second day you will print your edition with chine collé. Materials fee is $25 payable to instructor. Please see your receipt for materials list. THIS CLASS IS AT CUBBERLEY COMMUNITY CENTER, ROOM F4.
