In the session “Finding Your Story” screenwriters will work on developing a script idea from inception to execution. From cultivating characters and story lines to honing in on what makes a story producible, this class focuses on getting it done. Working together in groups reminiscent of a writers room, students will come up with an idea, break the story, develop the outline, and will start the beginning of the script to present at the end of session. The takeaway of the session will be for students to be able to effectively conceptualize their scripts.
