Description This one day workshop will focus on learning the aspects of colour that I have found to be essential throughout my professional art career. Bring your medium of choice (oil, acrylic, watercolour, coloured pencil etc) and we will complete some fun exercises that explore the vast world of colour from the extremes to the subtleties. The goal of this workshop is to clarify and simplify the way that colour relationships appear within your desired style of artwork. No previous experience required. Supply List - Your medium of choice (Oil, acrylic, watercolour, coloured pencil, pastel, gouche etc). Surfaces for your medium. At least four of at least 9”x12” in size. (for example, with oil bring primed canvas paper or boards, for pastel bring course textured papers). - Any other supplies related to your medium of choice. For example, with oils, also bring a palette, palette knife, a few brushes, possibly linseed oil, cloth for clean-up etc. Extra supplies are available in the classroom. A pen or pencil to take notes in addition to the handouts that you will receive.
