Event Description
The Achievement 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising and awareness event to support the HNN (VA) Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Achievement Foundation’s vision, a prolific mentoring program dedicated to achieving scholastic and professional goals while bring exposure to the importance of maintaining good health.
The Achievement 5K Run/Walk is a family friendly event. You do not have to be a runner to participate – you most certainly can walk the course and enjoy the fellowship in the park after you finish! Our goal is to inspire and facilitate healthy achievement. Please always consult your physician with any questions and concerns before starting a training program.
When you register to participate in the Achievement 5K Run/Walk, you are making an investment in the local youth and in their future. Your support ensures that more children, particularly young men, in our community will have the chance to realize their potential and make healthy choices.
If you are unable to participate, but would like to support the healthy achievement initiatives and youth mentoring programs in the local area, we ask that you consider making a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Hampton Newport News Kappa, Kappa Alpha Psi Achievement Foundation.
