Instructor: Elena Kanagy-Loux Bobbin lace is a lacemaking technique in which lengths of thread wound on bobbins are twisted and crossed. As the work progresses, the lace is held in place with pins in a lace pillow following a pattern. In this class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of Torchon lace and how it's constructed. We will be focusing on Half stitch, Linen stitch, and Whole stitch techniques, while constructing a simple bobbin lace bracelet. -- The After Workshops are a series of high quality hands-on classes, at low cost and low commitment. Materials, skills and fun supplied. Wine will also be included but you are welcome to BYOB!
