DIGIVATIONS XGENS-CASCADIA INTERNATIONAL MODEL UN Senior Secretariat Application Leavenworth, WA (in the heart of Beautiful Cascadia, 2 hours east of Seattle) 150 Delegates Visit one of the most picturesque Amercian towns set against a backdrop of the Cascade National Forest in the Pacific Northwest! Work with top international MUN leaders (NASA award winning DIGIVATIONS XGENS, Wenatchee River Institute, MyMUN, WIMUN, WFUNA) and international delegates. XGENS provides flight stipends, accommodation and more! To learn more about available positions, responsibilities, and all benefits, visit our website: www.xgens.org DXCIMUN is a new Model UN conference which simulates the work of significant United Nations Committees, Councils and Organizations paralleling the WFUNA (World Federation of United Nations Associations) WIMUN consensus approach in resolving major conflicts and taking decisive action in an effort to solve global challenges. DXCIMUN also focuses on the impact of advanced science and technology on global citizens everyday life encompassing issues such as the ethics of curing disease through biotechnology innovations including CRISPR and CAR-T; breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence and its influence on the current and future work force; the colonization of space and monitoring efforts by the World’s leading and emerging powers regarding prevention of the weaponization of space. Other major topics relevant to DXCIMUN’s uniquely beautiful location concern issues shared by diverse multiple stakeholders addressing climate action and adaptation. A key emphasis will focus on water rights critical to preserving safe potable water, as well as, a sustainable environment, healthy aquaculture, a stable food supply through preservation of farm land, and energy especially regarding the continuing impacts of hydroelectricity through the continuous use of dams.
