The Walk Across Lake Winnebago originally started with Connie Schultz, Jamie Caldwell and Stacy Frakes in 2003. Over the past several years it continued to grow into an afternoon of laughter, friendship, craziness, and fun! In 2010, 86 women joined us in walking across the frozen Lake Winnebago. In 2011 we had over 400 people walking across Lake Winnebago.
In 2012 and 2013 we were unable to walk due to poor ice conditions. If the Payne's Point Hook & Spear Fishing Club is unable to plow a road across the lake because it isn't safe enough (we need 12 inches of ice or more), we do not walk. Now we are able to raise $10,000+ for The Neenah Animal Shelter with over 800+ people joining us on the walk!
Last year we were able to raise $12,000 on your behalf. Our goal for 2018 is $15,000!
