The Walk Across Lake Winnebago originally started in 2003. Over the past several years it has continued to grow into an afternoon of laughter, friendship, craziness, and fun!
The Payne's Point Hook & Spear Fishing Club monitors the ice conditions and plows the road if there is 12 inches of ice or more.
Since 2010, we have donated $50,000 to The Neenah Animal Shelter and $2930 to the Menasha K9 Unit and $17,535 to The Neenah Police Department K9 Unit
This year, Walk Across Lake Winnebago will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Our goal is to raise funds for The Neenah Police Department K9 Unit and Neenah-Menasha Water Rescue Team in remembrance of Cassandra Laabs, Lauren Laabs and their family dog "Matey" who died in a result of a boat accident on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
