Now in its 10th year, the Tour de Blue offers cyclists a well-supported springtime riding experience through the scenic countryside of St. Clair and nearby counties in Alabama. This century ride starts and finishes in Moody, Alabama (just outside of Birmingham). There will be several exciting cycling routes, with 106, 76 & 50-mile options. The terrain is rolling, and there are several challenging climbs. The cost includes an event t-shirt and lunch. A Tour de Blue cycling jersey is also available for purchase. The ride benefits the Urology Health Foundation's prostate cancer screening and awareness efforts across Alabama.
The Tour de Blue is part of the Alabama Backroads Century Series, a group of top century rides in the State of Alabama that seeks to encourage participation in each of the rides and the charities they support.

Update on Century Route:
Due to recent bridge construction, a detour in the century route will have
to be made. This occurs after you loop around Chandler Mountain and before
you get to Ashville. The detour will add a few miles to the century route
and some additional elevation. Total distance for the Tour de Blue century
will now be 106 miles. The 76 and 50 mile routes are unaffected. For those
going on the century ride, click here to view the updated route map.

About the Urology Health Foundation: The Tour de Blue supports the Urology Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2003 by the Birmingham urologist Dr. Thomas E. Moody. A large part of the Foundation's work has been devoted to promoting public awareness about prostate cancer and to providing free prostate cancer screenings across the State of Alabama, especially in underserved areas that are at highest risk. Since 2007, the Urology Health Foundation has screened thousands of men free for prostate cancer in 19 different Alabama counties.
