Tykes classes will emphasize body awareness, basic tumbling, balancing, and hand-eye coordination. Bright colors and engaging stations create a captivating and stimulating environment to grow and learn through age-appropriate activities. We will also focus on preschool-early elementary social awareness skills (sharing, taking turns, courtesy, following rules, listening and directional skills, etc.) For new Tumbling Tykes 2’s and 3’s, a caregiver may be present in the gym to provide reassurance and assist their child in staying with the class if necessary. Caregivers will be encouraged to allow their child to be as independent as possible. By the end of the session, participants should be able to complete the class on their own. (JM)
