Girls learn the building blocks of gymnastics in this introductory level class. Skills are taught in all four of the women's events including vault, bars, balance beam, and floor. Strength, conditioning, and flexibility activities are also included to develop the skills necessary for promotion to Girls' Level 2. We track skill progression every session and formally evaluate each child in May, August, and December. If your child masters the skills before the formal evaluations occur, your child's instructor will recommend the next level. (JM)
