Description
Do you want to learn how to grow your own vegetables? Hennepin County Master Gardeners will guide you through the growing season until harvest time, addressing all your home garden questions. Sessions will feature hands-on activities working the common community plot at the park. At the first meeting, participants and Master Gardeners together will determine a schedule for helping in the garden at times outside the scheduled sessions. Produce grown will benefit the food shelf at the Aliveness Project, a nonprofit organization serving community members living with HIV/AIDS. Upon registration for this program, participants agree to maintain social distance (6 feet) at all times and adhere to the current Minnesota state face covering mandate. (Face covering exceptions may apply to certain MPRB activities.) Failure to comply will result in removal from the program.
