** FAMILIES MUST COMPLETE A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION ON THE MAIN URBAN ECOLOGY WEBSITE BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS CAMP. ONCE APPROVED FOR A SCHOLARSHIP, CHILDREN MAY BE REGISTERED *** Join us for a week-long exploration of animals that live in Wisconsin. We will seek snakes, investigate insects, find fish, and mimic mammals at all 3 branches! Each day we will learn about a different class of animals by studying them in our Native Wisconsin Animal Rooms, playing games, and exploring habitats in our parks!

About This Organizer

The Urban Ecology Center is a non-profit organization with 3 branches strategically placed throughout the city of Milwaukee, WI.  The Center mission is to foster ecological understanding as inspiration for change, neighborhood by neighborhood.  Our three Environmental Community Centers: Provide outdoor science education for urban youth, protect and use public natural areas, making them safe, accessible and vibrant, preserve and enhance these natural areas and their surrounding waters, promote community by offering resources -that support learning, volunteerism, stewardship, recreation and camaraderie, and practice and model environmentally responsible behaviors.  Specifically, our Summer Camp program helps kids, ages 3-15 to connect with nature through a variety of activities including; crafts, climbing trees, building forts, canoeing, biking, camping, photography, swimming, and much more!
