Picnics, fireworks and the Milton Optimists' Independence Day Run/Walk - for 36 years these have brought the Milton community together! Join us for a fun, family-oriented race to start off the 4th of July holiday. There's something for everyone - a competitive one-mile race on residential streets with a great downhill finish and a picturesque 10K out-and-back course with rolling hills. Races are timed, although not chip-timed.
And best of all, the event proceeds support youth in the Milton community throughout the year through the club's Kids on Stage Theater program, community projects, sports team sponsorships, high school scholarships, library summer reading program and Breakfast with Santa.
Come celebrate our 36th annual run on July 4th!
