Who is Equal Playing Field?
Equal Playing Field (EPF) is a global, non-profit initiative seeking to challenge the inequalities women face in sport, particularly in football, and to promote the development of the game. We believe in a world where women and girls have the opportunity and access to play, coach, referee and work in the sport they love, are treated equally and are given the respect they deserve.
We break world records to build a sense of community and generate visibility for the wider cause and team up with partners to run football camps that diversify access to sporting opportunities. We showcase stories of incredible women in our networks in compelling ways and amplify voices from within and outside our network, supporting them to increase their impact. Through its players, coaches, referees, mentors and partners so far EPF has representation in 32 countries on 6 continents, all dedicated to elevating the conversation around women in sport and creating genuine change at the elite and grassroots levels.
