Description
Learn safe and responsible firearm handling. Persons born after January 1, 1950, applying for a hunting license in Colorado must have a hunter safety card, which can be obtained by taking this course. In addition to successfully completing the written test, full participation in all three days is required, including safe gun handling and shooting techniques, as demonstrated by each participant at a shooting range on Sunday afternoon.
- Optional Saturday lunch (pizza, drink, and dessert) can be purchased at the time of registration for $10.
- Class is taught at a 6th grade level and participants must be able to take a written test without assistance.
