About This Activity

Our second annual Snow Stomp is coming back and it's going to be better than ever! Please join us on December 7, 2014 at Mount Spokane for a day filled with snowshoeing fun! Whether you're a newbie, a cross trainer, a skier, or someone looking for something to do on a Sunday morning, we want you there in your snow gear!
Snow Stomp 2014

Spokane’s only snowshoe event! Join in the fun for a day of racing, training, and good ol’ fashion fun in the snow. Offering an opportunity for your family to get out to the mountain and learn a new skill is our goal.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a community based winter snowshoeing event that provides a fun and safe environment for families and individuals to recreate. We encourage Physical activity throughout the winter season with an emphasis on tradition.

Our Vision

We want to develop and establish a snowshoe event that takes place with in our local community of Spokane County. We want this event to build and sustain community involvement. We aim to expose families and individuals to this winter activity and to promote a healthy lifestyle through recreation.

We have four events this year! We will have an individual hill stomp and a recreational stomp for individuals and we will have a family hill stomp and a family recreational stomp! This means we will have a bus at 7am for the individuals and at 9am for the families. You are more than welcome to drive but please be sure to have the appropriate parking passes for the mountain that day. You will need either a day pass or a discovery pass + a snow park pass. We understand some of you may want to spend the whole day on the mountain, so please come prepared to park on the mountain the whole day! If you are just coming for the event, the buses might be much easier for you!Yeti our Sasquatch will be joining us on the mountain the day of the event, so keep an eye out for him!We also have two donation campaigns set up! One for the Friends of Mount Spokane and one for the EWU Scholarship Fund! If you are feeling generous or have an extra dollar to spare please check out our campaigns!
