The 2019 Ultimate Fitness Run is set to raise the stakes again at Mount Spokane State Park on June 15th!
Adult athletes (age 15+) have two exciting options to choose from:
OPEN DIVISION: Perfect for those new to obstacle course racing (OCR) or the average trail runner. A great opportunity to experience mountain terrain through a fun yet challenging 5+ mile course, while also providing scalable obstacles per each athlete’s ability level. Open to individuals & teams.
COMPETITIVE DIVISION: Those looking to spice it up a bit will have a new option this year: a 2 PART RACE for the ultimate fitness test! COMP PT 1 has athletes completing a challenging 5+ mi course with 20+ obstacles. COMP PT 2 will be a 1+ mi high intensity obstacle sprint, upping the demands from the obstacles and turning up the heat! Twice the challenge, ten times the fun!
Both Open and Competitive divisions offer athletes unique challenges to overcome, and provides a venue to test what they’ve been training for…to be the most well rounded athlete they can be!
Remember the kids too! (ages 5-14)...
KIDS OBSTACLE RACE: The UFR offers a 1+ mile KIDS OBSTACLE RACE conveniently timed between the 5+ mile race and the Competitive Part 2 sprint event. This provides all athletes the chance to recover while cheering on this the future generation of champions!
Event details and scheduleWe expect the race to sell out so don’t delay! Register today! EVENT SCHEDULE -First heats for Open and Competitive Divisions begin at 8:00AM, followed immediately by remaining heats spaced 3-5 minutes apart.
-Kids Obstacle Course Race begins at approximately 11:00AM (after most Open and Competitive Part 1 athletes have finished, and before the start of the Competitive Part 2 race).

ARRIVAL /PARKING INFO
Plan to arrive at least one hour prior to your scheduled race time. This will give you time to park, warm up and get acquainted with the festival area. Plenty of parking will be available in the lower parking lot; however, carpooling is always a good idea! You are required to have a Discover Pass visible in your car to park without penalty. A single-day pass or an annual pass can be purchased online or on the mountain at the Park Ranger Station or locally at stores like REI, Mountain Gear, or White Elephant. Note: Volunteers will be parking in the upper lot closest to the venue; please leave this lot open for them.

WHAT TO BRING
Get ready for an exciting course that offers everything to challenge the athlete, including steep dirt/rock hills, water runoff, tall grass, and potentially snow! High traction shoes or trail shoes are strongly recommended.
