About this event
Join this in-person session to learn about the NOVA Fab Lab Design Challenge, design thinking, and watch fabrication tools in action! Participants will engage in a hands-on sample challenge and live equipment demonstrations that will show how a laser cutter, 3D printer, plastic thermoforming machine, and a CNC router work! This session will help prepare participants for competing in the 2022 Spring Design Challenge (more info at www.nvcc.edu/systemic/fablab.html). Open only to college students, high school and middle school students. No cost to attend thanks to our industry sponsor, BAE Systems. In-person at the NOVA Fab Lab (Manassas campus - 10500 Battleview Parkway, Manassas, VA 20109). This same session is also offered on March 3 from 6-8pm.
