Set in the nostalgic swirl of 1958, this lively musical comedy follows the whirlwind antics of teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie, who’s just been drafted into the army. To send him off in true rock-star style, his agent and girlfriend cook up a plan for a farewell kiss on live TV — and the lucky fan is none other than sweet Kim MacAfee from small-town Sweet Apple, Ohio. Expect toe-tapping tunes like “Put on a Happy Face” and “One Last Kiss,” plenty of teenage drama, jealous boyfriends, starstruck parents, and a whole lot of laughs.
