About this event

Babe Ruth League Baseball is an opportunity for players to continue their joy of baseball and to allow for continued development as they strive to make their local high school teams. It is also an opportunity for those players seeking to play baseball even if they are not a part of a local high school program. The goal is to give every registered participant an opportunity to grow both on and off the field.

Babe Ruth League Baseball is for players with league ages 13 - 15. Babe Ruth League Baseball plays on a regulation size field using 90' bases and 60' 6'' Pitching Distance. All registered players will participate. The coaching staff will be determined prior to to each season by the LAYBS Board of Directors. The Head of the Babe Ruth League LAYBS baseball program shall be Dwayne Fowler.

Equipment: All players shall furnish their own equipment. Bats: Shall not exceed 2 5/8 in diameter and not exceed 34" inches in length. Cleats: Metal Cleats are acceptable in the Babe Ruth 13-15 Division Location: Practices will be held at El Dorado Park Games will be played at various venues as scheduled and determined by LAYBS.
