Using eight Computrainers, this unique event will provide the participants a way to push themselves and race others in a challenging and fun environment. We will race on Saturday, Feb 20th in eight heats, one starting every hour from 9a to 4p. During the registration process you will be able to pick your preferred start time as available. Actual start time will be confirmed with you prior to the event.
Event details and schedule
Racers will need to bring their own bikes and indoor cycling gear - towel, bike shoes, water bottle etc. We will provide the trainer and front wheel block.
Procedure will be:
- Participants will arrive 15-30 minutes before their heat start time to check in and measure their weight with bike.
- At the start of each Heat, athletes will load their bikes onto the designated Computrainer and warm up. We will then go through a "calibration" process to ensure accurate results.
- Once all racers are ready to go we will start the 30 Minute Race.
- After the race athletes will cool down and then unload their bikes from the Computrainer.
Race results will be recorded and rankings provided in two categories - Overall Distance and Watts per kg.
If you register as a TEAM you will be contacted by email to provide the names and information of your 8 riders. The benefits of registering as a TEAM are you will have first pick of the desired Heat time and you can control who you are racing against. (and you can have your own team music if you want)
