What's Included

Future Young Scholars (ages 16+) will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, international leadership and community-building. $1,000 weekly scholarship is offered by DIGIVATIONS XGENS through the generous support of the University of Washington, Jackson School of International Studies’ Center for West European Studies & EU Center. The CIT/FYS program fosters innovation in students who are preparing for university in a variety of fields. Innovation & STEM (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Artificial Intelligence, etc) are taught through the arts and humanities using different literary themes such as Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Additional topics include: Business Start-Ups, Intellectual Property, World Building Topics ( Economics, Design Thinking) and Sports. As part of a close-knit team, the CIT/FYS program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants co-plan activities, lead quests, create collaborative innovative projects, assist in teaching activities and share responsibility for a cabin of campers. Future Young Greek Scholars also teach Greek language, history and mythology. The $1,000 scholarship per week is applied to the $1,350 tuition which covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. This amount does not include international round trip transportation to SEATTLE, WA Airport (SEATAC). The Director will transport the Young Scholar to and from the camp located two hours from SEATAC, just outside Leavenworth, WA. XGENS takes place at University of California at Santa Cruz, August 1-6 and would require different travel arrangements.
