Description
The North Laurel 50+ Center is hosting Making Change, Inc., the Maryland Insurance Administration, the Office of Consumer Protection, and the Office of Emergency Management for a free, in-person workshop, “Disaster Preparedness for Consumers: What Can You Do Today?” During this workshop, participants will learn about the importance of preparing for a disaster; how to prepare accounts, documents and medical needs in advance; what insurance policies should be considered; and steps one can take today to protect their identity and their finances in the aftermath of an emergency.If program is showing as full online, please call the center to see if space is available.
