11901 146th Street N Largo, FL 33774The City of Largo along with The Friends of Largo Nature Parks, have teamed up to host the 9th Annual Turtle Trot 5k at George C. McGough Nature Park on January 11th, 2020 at 8am. The Turtle Trot is a measured 3.1 mile flat course that will take participants through McGough and Bonner Parks well kept trails, boardwalks and on quiet neighborhood streets nearby. A t-shirt and goody bag are guaranteed for all preregistered runners. Post-race refreshments and water will be available.
Both parks are located on the Intracoastal Waterway and have great boardwalks and piers for post-race relaxing. Bring the kids and feed the turtles from the observation deck.
Event details and schedule
Start time 8:00 am. Parking is offsite, allow additional time.
This is a chip-timed race, racing bibs and online run time results will be available for all runners. Awards will be given to the overall male and female runners, overall master male and female and the top three finishers in each age group.
Pre-registration early packet pick up at McGough Nature Park on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
