This class begins at the ballet barre focusing on basic ballet techniques and proper body alignment. Then we will focus on Joseph Pilates 34 basic moves. All these exercises will stretch, strengthen, and sculpt a long, lean body that supports posture, poise, and grace. Pilates rings the instructor provides will be used to enhance and enrich your experience. All fitness levels are welcome. Please bring a mat to class, water, and a towel. Please wear soft-soled shoes (i.e., ballet shoes or isotoner slippers) or socks that have traction on the soles.
