A challenging 102-mile ride, from La Veta to Segundo and back along scenic Colorado Highway 12 (the scenic Highway of Legends), with great views, friendly volunters, and excellent food!
Register onsite after August 11
You can register at packet pickup Friday evening or early Saturday morning at the La Veta Town Park.
Fees: $75 before June 1, $80 June 1-July 15, $85 July 15 or after and onsite

Event details and schedule
Registration includes: 7 SAG stations (including lavish lunch), mechanical assistance, t-shirt, and post-ride meal. To be sure you get a Friday night dinner, register by July 20. We will offer some additional dinner tickets for $20.00, first come first served, but we cannot guarantee dinner for late or onsite registrations.
Friday night packet pickup and dinner (optional) are at the La Veta Community Center, 131 E Ryus Ave in La Veta.
Friday night packet pickup: 4-9 pm
Friday night dinner: 5-8 pm
We suggest you wait at least until 6:30 am Saturday to begin the ride. The ride begins and ends at the La Veta Town Park, West Ryus Avenue in La Veta.
Saturday post-ride meal: 12 noon-7 pm, at the historic Train Depot, 111 Moore Ave, just north of La Veta Town Park.
All required COVID-19 precautions will be taken.
The ride will be held rain or shine and there are no refunds or roll forwards to future rides. If you can’t make it, someone else can take your place, or we will postal mail your packet for $8.00 (additional cost if ordering mug). Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
Helmets approved by CPSC, SNELL, ASTM, or ANSI are required.
