October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Race Against Violence is our annual fundraiser and our 30th year of providing services to victims in Mohave County. KAAP is a non-profit organization. We are dedicated to providing support to families in crisis and to preserving family unity free from violence. Our Community based program is dependent on grants and community support. We provide the following sevices at no charge.
Emergengy Shelter, Residential Programs, Outreach Programs, Non-Residential Program, Teen Dating Violence, Educational Awareness, Elder Abuse, Crisis Counseling, Legal and Personal Advacacy, Children's Programs, Pet Friendly, Handicap Accessible, TDD equipment for the hearing impaired.

Packet pick-up is Friday October 16, 2015 at Kingman Aid to Abused People, 1770 Airway Ave, Kingman (Sarahs House). Time is 5:00PM - 8PM.

Race Against Violence is inspred by those who have lost their life to Violence. Race starts promptly at 8:00AM. Race will start at Metcalfe Park in downtown Kingman AZ. Racers will run (or wlak) up Grandview, turn right on Turquoise then continue to Herbert Ave. then continueing on to N. Stockton Hill Road. When arriving at the water station you will turn around as marked and return back to the park on the same route. We will also be providing a Color Dash as part of the festivities along with Game Booths, Face Painting, Balloons and other activities.
