OCS, at its core, is a leadership course. Due to this foundation, officer candidates are required to organize and execute several class projects while working with our cadre. These projects are designed to prepare officer candidates for planning and working with individuals in both supervisory and mentee roles. These skills are essential for working as an officer in the Armed Forces, so the projects are designed to test and hone these abilities. In addition to planning and executing these projects, the officer candidates are responsible for funding them through fundraising. Class 61 has set a goal of $5000 by June 2022 to make these projects successful.
