The Somers Library Foundation’s Tenth Annual 5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run are scheduled for Sunday, October 16, 2022.
The Reis Park ball fields and surrounding nature trails will again be filled with runners, joggers and walkers of all ages.
Past trail runs have been very successful due to the generous support of our local families and community-minded businesses - raising more than $12,000 per year for much needed library projects!
We hope you enjoy the race and support our race sponsors so the Foundation can continue to fund a variety of projects being identified by the Long Range Action Committee, Library Director, and Library Board of Trustees. These plans will improve the accessibility of our library services and making the best use of our library facilities to serve our changing needs.
