100 N Jackson St Janesville, WI 53548The Run Against Crime and McGruff Mile is a fundraiser for Janesville Area Crime Stoppers to raise funds to pay for cime information to solve more crimes in Rock County. This 5K run and 1 mile walk starts and ends at the Janesville Police Department. This year we added a 1 mile walk with McGruff the Crime Dog in which participants can bring their dogs and walk with the families and McGruff. This course will be a certified 5k. Help us take a bite out of crime and raise funds to help prevent and solve crime in our community.
Event details and schedule
Walk up Registration and packet pick up will start at 6:45 am. The Run will start at 8:00am and the Walk will start at 8:15am. The race/walk begins and end at Janesville PD on Franklin St near Wall St. The run round will run North on Franklin to the bike trail near Mercy Hospital. Runners will run the bike trail to the Mole Sadler neighborhood to a turn around and return on the trail to Franklin St. Runner will continue on Franklin to the Start/Finish Line. Parking will be in the City Parking lot on Jackson/Wall St or anywhere there is street parking. Every Runner who pre registers will get a great run shirt and we will have awards for 1st-3rd places in each category.
