Large (actual) gator-head trophies will be given to the M/F overall, masters and grand masters divisions . Smaller gator-head trophies will be given to five-year age group winners, both male and female, ages 10-14 through 74-79.
T-Shirts will be given to each registrant, and medallions will be given to each of the first 200 finishers. Unique art will be used for each from a middle-school art competition and judged by attendees at the Cooper River Bridge Run Expo.
A poem will be composed by the Hell Hole Poet Laureate, who doubles as the Race Director, while the runners are on the course. The six champions will be featured on a float (bed of pick-up truck) in the Hell Hole Swamp Festival Parade, which will be held immediately following the Award Ceremony.
These taxidermied gator heads are purchased from a gator farm in Florida, which would toss them onto a trash heap. Instead, your gator's head can live in infamy in your trophy case. Their bases are planks from Charleston Heart Pine.
