13th Annual event, this is an open water swim in the Atlantic Ocean along Beautiful Jacksonville Beach, finishing just north of the iconic Jax Beach Lifeguard Station. Traditional distances of 1.25 miles and 2.5 miles are point-to-point swims with the current. A new distance is added this year, a 5k swim starting at the lifeguard station and swimming south to turnaround buoy then back.
Support kayaks and lifeguards along the way.
