The video game market is becoming a large emergent market, many students are underprepared to receive technical artistic training to enter into the game development field. Preparing students to enter this job market will equip them with real world options for careers in 3D modeling for both film and interactive media. Students with the skills to work anywhere on a production pipeline can offer fruitful, lifelong careers with many options to explore other related fields with the fundamental skills taught. Goals: 1. Students will learn how to properly create a file hierarchy, and follow a production pipeline from start to finish. 2. Students will create: 1 Background asset, 1 character asset, and a character platform. Students will also learn the fundamental principles of UVing and Texturing. This class is taught by Jeremy Perez. $130 Tuition & $5 supply fee.
