Sorry, Party Pardee is CANCELED for 2020
With all the latest concerns with Covid-19 social-distancing, no congregation of large groups, and difficulty preventing the spread of the virus, etc., the Sacramento Bike Hikers have explored all the possible ways to keep the Party Pardee 2020 ride open on October 24th. Our primary concerns are the health and safety of our riders and volunteers. We have made inquiries to all the county health authorities that govern such events, and unfortunately, the answer stays the same. At this time no one for certain can say Party Pardee will or will not be allowed to happen as planned until the last moment, possibly just days before the event.
Because of the all the months of planning, permits and insurance that it takes to make such an event happen successfully, there is no assurance at this time the event can take place until the last moment. Since we do not anticipate any viable way to assure the health and safety of 1500 riders and volunteers, the Sacramento Bike Hikers sadly announce the Party Pardee 2020 is canceled for the first time in the history of this event.
All registered riders will receive emails regarding their registration being deferred until Party Pardee 2021, and if they prefer information on how to receive a refund.
