About This Activity

**NEW** This year we are adding color!!

Dueling Chefs Smoke-n-Grille Food Truck & The Riley Parkhurt Project will be on site for after race food and entertainment!

Our 8th annual Race for Reading 5K Trail Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run is coming at you with a brand-new twist! This year’s event has become a bit brighter – prepare to get blasted with color! Kids and adults will run/walk our usual course and get colored along the way. All participants will receive a race t-shirt (white, of course!) along with a color packet for the end of the race. Following the race there will be food and entertainment for the entire family. Prizes will be awarded to our top finishers and all kids will receive a medal.

Registration begins at 9:30am with the kids run starting at 10:30. The adults will begin at 11 and our final color blast will happen when the last racer crosses the finish line. Get ready for a colorful and fun time!

Kids Runs:
1/2K - Ages 8 & Under
1K - Ages 9-12

5K Trail Run/Walk begins,
Rain or Shine

Pre-Registration Donation: A $25 donation.
Participants are encouraged to gather pledges. (Registration is $35 the day of the race)

Kids Runs Registration is $10

Registration fee includes T-shirt • This event is a fundraiser for our Literacy Programs.
